Our next 2021 beneficiary introduction… give a warm welcome to our baseball hometown beneficiary, The Dream Center!

Located just minutes from Dodger Stadium, “The Dream Center is a faith-based charitable organization that finds and fills the needs of struggling people from all over the United States. Since 1995, thousands of individuals and families have found hope and healing through the programs that only the Dream Center offers. The Dream Center aims to not only meet the immediate needs of communities like providing food and clothing, but also focuses on the full successful transformation of people’s lives, all free of charge.Our mission is to connect broken people to a community of support by offering free resources and services that address immediate and long-term needs in the areas of poverty, addiction, and abuse. The Dream Center serves as a resource center focused on finding solutions to homelessness, hunger, and the lack of education through residential and community outreach programs.
Our 2021 project is to Sponsor our annual Back to School Bash. This event will support over 3,500 kids, with event attendance being over 5,000 people. The Dream Center will be hosting this event IN PERSON THIS WEEKEND, Saturday August 7th. We can’t wait!
The Back to School Bash is one of our favorite ways to make a tangible impact in the lives of children living in LA. It is such a FUN event and every child goes home with a signature KC backpack, filled with school supplies for the coming year. We are pumped to sponsor this again. This year, we will also work to see the completion of the Kershaw’s Challenge Activity Center—finishing with the amphitheater. In 2018 and 2019, we funded the amazing playground and started funding for the remaining area. This gift would complete the “park” with an amphitheater. It is a beautiful refuge for children and families living at the Dream Center and it is our joy to tie a bow on it!
