Meet our 2023 Beneficiaries: International Justice Mission

Meet our next 2023 Beneficiary, International Justice Mission! We have been partnering with IJM for the last few years and are so excited to partner with them once again this year.

From IJM “International Justice Mission is a global organization that protects people in poverty from violence. We partner with local authorities in 31 program offices in 16 countries to combat trafficking and slavery, violence against women and children and police abuse of power. IJM’s mission is to protect people in poverty from violence by rescuing victims, bringing criminals to justice, restoring survivors to safety and strength, and helping local law enforcement build a safe future that lasts.”

Our partners with IJM continue to face new challenges with their work in Ghana. The prevalence of child labor trafficking on Lake Volta is rampant and IJM is determined to put an end to the injustice. Until all are free, the work of IJM continues. Successful rescue missions are contingent on law enforcement and strengthening the criminal justice system will bring lasting freedom to vulnerable children. The work of KC this year will focus on supporting this critical work in Ghana.  We are excited that our 2023 Project with IJM is to fund the direct Investigative Services in Ghana.
