2020 Beneficiary Introductions: Shoes That Fit

Meet one of our NEW 2020 Beneficiaries: Shoes That Fit. We are thrilled to partner with Shoes that Fit in providing brand new shoes to children living in Dallas and LA. 

From Shoes That Fit...“We tackle one of the most visible signs of poverty in America by giving kids in need new athletic shoes to attend school with dignity and joy, prepared to learn, play and thrive. Today, we help children in thousands of schools across America. Over 2 million pairs of new shoes and other necessities have been raised and distributed. Most importantly, we help kids improve their self-esteem and participation at school by eliminating one of poverty’s most visible and debilitating marks.” 

Our goal in 2020 is to reach 4,000 children in each of these cities. Additionally Shoes That Fit would love to kick off a branded Shoes That Fit program in Dallas called “Kershaw’s Kicks for Kids”—a program modeled after a LA program that has been very successful in mobilizing the community to work towards one common goal—providing shoes for children.
